Transparency and Important Disclosures

Important considerations before participating

RF is committed to nurturing a transparent environment by openly sharing auditable and verifiable information regarding the risks, challenges and trust elements involved in its architectural or technological capabilities.

Open Source Software

  • The source codes for all RF software are available for public review on GitHub. We encourage participants and independent auditors to examine the code to verify its integrity and functionality.

Auditable Information

  • We are committed to providing information that is independently verifiable and auditable, ensuring that all participants can trust and independently verify the data and processes related to RF.

Regular Updates and Communication

  • To keep our community informed, we provide regular updates on the project's progress, upcoming milestones, and any challenges we face. Our communication channels, in order of authority, include:

    1. Website

    2. Discord Server

    3. Social Media Handles

Risk Disclosures

Participation in RF, like any project involving digital assets and experimental technology, involves certain risks. We urge participants to consider the following factors carefully:

Centralization and Trust

  • Due to its current design limitations, RF relies on centralized entities (operators) for initial operations until the token distribution. This reliance introduces the risk of potential malicious actions by the operators, including tampering with allocations at distribution or failing to proceed with the token distribution.

  • Moreover, although the FUND token is intended to govern every aspect of the project, participants must recognize that trusted operators are still essential for implementing outcomes, at least until a more secure mechanism is feasible for implementation.

Token Allocations

  • The allocation of tokens per contribution is calculated and recorded off-chain. It is the operators' responsibility to ensure this information is made public in a transparent and verifiable manner.

Technological Risks

  • The use of blockchain technology comes with risks, including bugs, vulnerabilities, and unforeseen errors. RF involves experimental technologies and untested software, which could affect the distribution process.

Regulatory Environment

The evolving regulatory landscape for cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects could impact RF, affecting token distribution, trading, and overall project viability.

Market Volatility

  • The value of RUNES tokens, as with other digital assets, is highly volatile. Contributors should be prepared for significant price fluctuations.
